Individuals with more than 20 years of service at the Costa Rican Red Cross who actively support strategic initiatives and/or community projects, in accordance with their level of experience and training

🌸 Volunteer Women

Gender-sensitive volunteer work aimed at women over the age of 36, who carry out community-based social service initiatives to strengthen neighborhood committees

🌱 Youth

A program designed for people aged 8 to 35, focused on preventing human suffering through community-based approaches, leadership skills development, and humanitarian education

Basic Requirements and Benefits of Volunteering

What you need to join

Requirements for adults:

  • Criminal record
  • Copy of identification
  • If you have a driver's license, please provide a copy

Requirements for minors:

  • Consent Form from Legal Guardians (Institutional Format)
  • Copy of the legal guardians' identification

How much time should you spend on it?

The length of service depends on the area you choose and your availability. The Red Cross tailors the activities so that you can participate without interfering with your other responsibilities.
